
Friday Night Rocks was a collaboration between Root Sports and the Pittsburgh Pirates—an in-stadium activation designed to infuse Friday nights with the energy of rock music. Each week, a new band was featured through custom music videos played in-stadium, adding a bold, visual layer to the game day atmosphere.
I designed the Friday Night Rocks logo to capture the grit and attitude of classic rock band logos, setting the tone for the activation’s bold, music-driven identity. I also created the full suite of supporting assets—including team matchup posters, band posters, VIP passes, and in-stadium graphics—bringing the entire look and feel together.
The result was a fan-focused experience that merged sports and music in a fresh, authentic way—giving Friday nights at the ballpark a new energy fans could feel.
